RECIPE OF TANDOORI GOBHI

Key Ingredients of Tandoori Gobhi

Cloves
cinnamon
cardamom seeds
cumin seeds
nutmeg powder
dry ginger powder
coriander powder
methi seeds
ajwain
ginger paste
garlic paste
curd
dry roasted besan
oil
pink chili powder

The proportion of ingredients for the tandoori masala:

·         Five Cloves
·         Half sticks cinnamon
·         Half tsp cardamom seeds
·         1 tsp cumin seeds
·         1/8 tsp nutmeg powder

·         1 tsp coriander powder
·         Half of tsp methi seeds

For marinating Gobhi with the paste:

·         1 tsp ginger paste
·         1 tsp garlic paste
·         1/2 cup curd
·         2 tbsp dry roasted besan
·         1 tsp oil
·         Half tsp pink chili powder
·         Half tsp black pepper powder
·         1 tsp salt
·         2 tbsp floor masala
·         500 gms gobhi

How to Make Tandoori Gobhi

Preparation of the tandoori masala:
·         Grind the cloves, cinnamon, cardamom seeds, cumin seeds, nutmeg powder, dry ginger powder, coriander powder, methi Seeds and ajwain to prepare a masala.

Preparing the marinating paste:

1. In a bowl add ginger garlic paste, Curd, Dry Roasted Besan, Oil, Red Chili Powder, Black Pepper Powder, and Salt. Whisk thoroughly.
2. Add the tandoori masala to the paste and whisk properly.
3. Put the Gobhi into the bowl and thoroughly coat it with the combination.
4. Let the Gobhi marinate for 15 minutes.
5.  After the Gobhi marinates properly grill it for about 20-25 minutes at 220 degree Celsius.
6. Serve Tandoori gobhi warm along with green chutney.

NOTE: You can garnish Gobhi with coriander leaves and sprinkle chat masala over it for a better taste.
